Mesh wifi networks are so expensive but I’ve heard they are good. Wifi boosters are pretty affordable but I don’t know if that’ll fix my problem. My laptop keeps saying its looking for my network but when it connects it shows as having all the bars.
Thoughts?!

I’d go with a mesh network. Improving the signal across your house is the way to go. Here is a good deal on Nokia routers from Amazon It is $195 down from $300.
