Walmart Grocery Review: Is It Worth It?

Walmart Grocery's pickup service is worth it especially during the current pandemic.

If you haven't used it yet, here's what you need to know:

Choose pickup or delivery
Reserve a no-contact pickup or delivery time, place your order and leave the shopping to us. Use the app to check in before heading to the store for your curbside pickup or track your driver’s progress when your delivery order is en route. Regardless of how you get your order, we’ll update you every step of the way.

Count on in-store pricing
Pay the same price you would in store. Order your grocery favorites and household essentials without worrying about markups or hidden fees. We also stand behind our 100% freshness guarantee, in store and online. If you’re not happy, we’ll make it right.

Opt in to substitutions
Out-of-stock items? Don’t worry – our goal is to deliver as many of your items as possible. If something becomes unavailable, we’re happy to provide an item of similar quality. You can enable substitutions for your entire order or just the items you specify.

Request a refund online
We understand you’re busy. If you’re not satisfied with an item or a substitution, you can save yourself a trip to the store and request a refund online. Go to your Order Details and select ‘Have an item issue?’ – we’ll guide you through the request process in just a few steps.

Unlimited Delivery is also an option and you get two payment plans to choose from with a free 15-day trial?:
  • $12.95 monthly
  • $98 annual

Absolutely worth it. Walmart is making it so easy now.

Target is also offering curbside pickup for many of their items. One aspect of Target’s system that I prefer is the Target app lets you view live inventory for your local store so you can see if something is in stock. Target’s app was the only way I was able to find a store near me that still had active dry yeast in stock for my bread making. We make bread in my house two or three times a week
